29th “Rencontre du Non-Linéaire"

The 29th “Rencontre du Non-Linéaire” (RNL) will be held from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the Université Paris Cité, Buffon Amphitheater, 15 rue Hélène Brion, in Paris (13th arrondissement).

This annual event brings together research communities working on nonlinear dynamics and coming from a variety of disciplines, including hydrodynamics, optics, plasma physics, mechanics, mathematics, geosciences, and biophysics. The main objective is to foster exchanges and mutual enrichment between these researchers who, although from different fields, often share concepts, methods, and issues.

First organized in 1998 and hosted by the Université Paris Cité since 2013, the RNL takes place over two days. The program includes four 40-minute invited talks, twelve selected 20-minute presentations, and approximately one hundred 2-minute short talks allowing authors to promote their posters before the dedicated sessions. Each year, a thematic mini-symposium precedes the two plenary days. It features between ten and fifteen talks. The 2025 edition brought together 230 registered participants.

Registration will open in December 2025.
